Linda Whitehouse

Linda is the Connections Co-ordinator for Sydney Refugee Team (SRT) and attends Blacktown East Presbyterian Church.

SRT brings the hope of Jesus to refugees from countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo, China, Burma, Sri Lanka and more.

The SRT leaders and volunteers seek to demonstrate and declare the love of Christ to refugees and asylum seekers in the Sydney area. Linda's role includes linking volunteers with refugee and asylum seeker families to build friendships, offer practical assistance and share the love of Christ in word and deed. Linda also meets with, helps, shares the Gospel with and prays with refugees and asylum seekers.

Additionally, Linda goes on weekly food deliveries and also in helping in running events such as weekends at Teen Ranch including the Bible teaching programme for the children.

The support raised for Linda through Ride for Refugees will help her to continue serving and helping refugees in Sydney.
